About UCL Ice Club
UCL Ice Club is for hockey players and figure skaters of all abilities. We’re a friendly society where you can learn everything from the basics upwards with people at your level. The society meets weekly at training and at socials.
Visit the Ice Hockey or the Figure Skating pages to find out more details about the respective training times of each activity. Both trainings occur on Wednesday's when most people are free from lectures, so why not give it a try?! Membership can be bought here.
UCL Ice Club can be found at the ULU Bar every Wednesday evening, in anticipation of the wild sportsnite antics at Loop. In addition, various socials occur from time to time commemorating whatever needs commemorating and also, a monthly social skate with all members of ice club at one of the various rinks in London!
The year for the club culminates in the annual showdown between the UCL Yetis and the Imperial Devils in front of a crowd of more than a 1,000 spectators. Spectators also get to enjoy a figure skating performance from UCL Frostbite. It's an event like no other, with bone-crunching hits and powerful shots from the players and magnificent, elegant skating from the figure skaters. Be sure to either be taking part on the ice or watching the fun unfold right in front of you!
